Mamma: layout per Stuck?! Sketches

Per me gli sketch siamo una fonte importantissima d'ispirazione, a volte li seguo fedelmente, altre volte prendo solo spunto da certi elementi... sono utili anche per cambiare un po' e non usare sempre le stesse strutture.
L'ultimo sketch di Stuck?! Sketches mi è piaciuto proprio perché mi ha "costretta" a pensare un po' fuori dai miei schemi. E devo dire che questo layout si è creato praticamente da solo, tutto è andato al posto giusto subito, succede anche voi?

Sketches are a great source of inspiration for me, sometimes I faitfully follow them, while other times I take a cue from some elements... sketches are useful also to change and not always use the same structures.
The last Stuck?! Sketches forced me to think outisde of my box. And I have to say that this layout came together by itself, all the elements went immediately to the right place, does it happen to you too?

Adoro la combinazione giallo, rosa, azzurro, credo sia la mia preferita al momento :-)

I love the combination of yellow, blue and pink, I think it's my new favourite :-)

Layout Barcelona love

Erano mesi che avevo lì queste foto di Barcellona, finalmente ho trovato il modo di scrapparle... tutte in un unico layout :-)
I had these photos I took in Barcelona waiting to be scrapped since 2013!!! Finally I found a way to put them all in a page :-)

Avevo questo "folder stack" che non aspettava altro che essere utilizzato e zac... ho avuto l'illuminazione!! :-P
I also had this "floder stack" and I gave a sudden idea!!

Ho seguito lo sketch di Stuck?! Sketches e il tris di Fate le Creative, scegliendo scotch carta, forme geometriche e gocce di colore.

Ho riscoperto il glossy accent: le mie lettere erano grezze, le ho colorate con un pennarellino blu poi "glassate"... effetto favoloso, come nuove!!

I rediscovered glossy accent: my alphabet was raw, I colored the letters with a blue marker then covered them with the "gel"... it worked great, they are as new!!

Carta Fyche: ho scelto cuciture, timbri e gesso, poi ho aggiunto anche le perle (enamel dots)
For CartaFyche I choose to use sewings, stamps and gesso, then I also added some pearls (enamel dots)

E aggiungo anche Clique Kits tema "anything goes"

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge, con vincolo di utilizzare la parola wonder/wonderful

Gesso acrilico, timbri e qualche goccia di colore per lo sfondo, carte e vellum per creare il layering sotto la foto, con l'uso di biadesivo spessorato per creare maggior volume.
Quelle rose così delicate le ho trovate molto adatte...
Acrylic gesso, stamps and some paint drops for the background, patterned papers and vellum for the layering under the photo, with double-sided foam tape to create volume).
And I found those subtle roses really great for this layout...

Zampette adorabili

Sono ripetitiva?
Ecco un altra pagina su Stewie, questa volta sono protagoniste le sue zampette adorabili.
Sarà che lei è la prima gatta che ho avuto, sarà che sono sempre stata convinta, fin dal primo momento, che il nostro incontro sia stato tutt'altro che fortuito (se volete sapere com'è andata, l'avevo raccontato qui), ma io credo che sia stato il destino a farci trovare quel giorno :-D
Insomma io sento esserci un legame particolare... che nulla toglie al bene che voglio agli altri due gattelli, che presto conoscerete perchè voglio assolutamente fare delle pagine anche su di loro, per ricordare il loro carattere, certi episodi e altre cosette che col tempo magari si tende a dimenticare, e io non voglio farlo!!

Here's another page about Stewie, this time it's dedicated to her cute paws.
Maybe it's the fact that she's been my first cat, maybe it's that I think that our encounter was far from fortuitous, in fact I think it was destiny... in conclusion I feel a special bond with her... that doesn't prevent me from loving the other two cats, that will soon be featured in some layouts because I want to save some memories about their personality, some events and other details that risk to be forgotten... and I do not want to forget them!

Stewie's morning routine

Ecco un altro LO basato su uno sketch di Studio Calico nel quale ho incorporato anche elementi delle sfide proposte da ScrapMuch (color palette) e da In the scrap (numeri).
Adoro questo kit, i colori, le fantasie, gli abbellimenti.... vorrei non finisse mai :-)

Here's another layout based on a Studio Calico sketch in which I incorporated elements from the challenges of ScrapMuch (color palette) and In the scrap (numbers).
I love everything about this kit (Arendal): the colors, the fantasies, embellishments.... I would want it to last eternally :-)

Anche questo è dedicato a Stewie, ma bisognerà che ne faccia qualcuno anche con le millemila foto degli altri due gattelli :-)

Again it's a page dedicated to our cat Stewie, I will have to do some with the countless photos of the other two :-)

Dream layout #2.16

L'altro giorno ero in vena creativa, in due ore due LO!! Sono carichissima :-D

Sono quindi felice di essere riuscita a partecipare anche questo mese alla sfida di Scrap Dreams, con il vincolo del titolo in inglese...
Ho seguito uno dei Sunday sketch di Studio Calico e finalmente sto anche usando i vecchi kit quasi intatti :-P

I've had a creative impulse a couple of days ago and I made two layouts in two hours!! So happy and excited :-D
I am happy to participate as well to this month's Scrap Dreams challenge, that asked to write the title in English...
I followed one of Studio Calico's sketches and I am finally using some of my old intact kits :-P

Ho voluto fare un titolo simpatico... l'avete capito?? ;-)

Ecco un altra paginetta fatta sempre con prodotti Studio Calico, questa volta il kit è quello di gennaio (che adoro!!) più una pattern della collezione Goldie per la base.
Direi che non c'è bisogno di aggiungere a nulla, il layout parla da solo :-)

Ho seguito lo sketch di Stuck?! Sketches girandolo e usando una sola foto e abbellimenti al posto delle altre.

Here's another layout I made with Studio Calico products, the kit is January's Arendal and I love it!! So versatile and adorable. The patterned paper for the base is from the Goldie collection.
I think there's nothing to say about it, it talks by itself :-)

I followed the Stuck?! Sketches January 15 sketch, turning it 90 degrees and using just one photo and embellishments to substitute the others.

Io lo trovo stupendo (mia modestissima opinione) ;-)

In my humble opinion, it is amazing ;-)

Sto seguendo un workshop online su entreartistes.fr della bravissima Anna-Maria Wolniak, si parla di mixed media... Diciamo che ho provato a seguire la tecnica spiegata nel primo dei 4 moduli di cui è composto il corso... e mi è piaciuto un sacco lavorare molto liberamente con acquerelli, gesso (adoro!), glimmer mist, timbri... lo trovo molto soddisfacente e vicino al mio stile, a come mi piace lavorare.

Quindi assolutamente thumbs up per questo workshop!

Ovviamente questo è solo un tentativo maldestro, dovrò perfezionare la tecnica, ma già così mi piace un sacco. Che ne dite? :D

Isn's it great? I love all that white space :)

I'm attending an online class at entreartistes.fr by the amazing Anna-Maria Wolniak on mixed media. I tried to follow the techniques explained in the first of the 4 classes and I LOVED it. I loved to work with watercolors, gesso (LOVE LOVE LOVE it), mists, stamps... I find it's really satisfying and close to my stile, that's how I like to work.
Thumbs up for the workshop then!

Obviously this is just a clunky try, I'll have to work on the techniques, but I am already pretty satisfied. What do you think? :D

Above is my take, I changed it up a bit, switched 2 horizontal photos to a vertical one and moved everything down a bit to leave place for the top decoration of the paper (which I think did a great job all by itself!)
