Come al solito la foto è pessima... e stavolta non sono soddisfatta del risultato...
In ogni caso adoro queste sfide perchè mi fanno scrappare (e scrivere) cose che altrimenti non prenderei nemmeno in considerazione.
As usual, the photo is not great... and I'm not really satisfied of this LO...
Anyway, I like these challenges, they make me scrap (and write) things I wouldn't even think about.

Nuovo LO

Mi sono beccata l'influenza.

E così ieri ho fatto una paginetta... per la sfida n° 11 di ScrapStars, che ha proposto lo sketch e il tema, cioé "i miei propositi per il 2009".

Purtoppo, come al solito, la foto è orribile, ma il tempo non collabora, il sole non si fa vedere, e questa è la foto migliore che sono riuscita a fare...

Eh già, sono tornata, dopo una lunga assenza, ma non senza novità...

First of all, I'd like to mention my win of Francesca's Blog Candy... I couldn't believe I had won!!

Seconda cosa, che scorrendo si può vedere, è che da ora in poi scriverò i post anche in inglese, così mi eserciterò un pò e potrò allargare le mie "conoscenze"... sottolineo che correzioni di tipo grammaticale e linguistico sono più che benvenute!!

Second, it's easy to see, from now on I'll be posting both in Italian and in English... that's a good way to exercise my English and to broaden my acquaintances... any correction about grammage and language is more than welcome!!!

Continuiamo con ordine... il blog delle 4 civette sul comò ha proposto un'idea carina, prendendo ispirazione da Emily Falconbridge, vale a dire realizzare un Art Journal ogni settimana, secondo le indicazioni fornite da Emily, così da avere alla fine dell'anno un bell'album... non so se mi sono spiegata bene, comunque sul blog delle 4 civette c'è una spiegazione più completa (e probabilmente comprensibile) della mia...

E a proposito di Emily... ho letto proprio oggi sul suo blog che tra tutte le persone che lasceranno un messaggio al suo ultimo post, ne estrarrà una che vincerà la partecipazione ai corsi del PACS'09 che si terrà a Napoli dal 27 al 29 marzo...

And then.. the blog 4 civette sul comò had the idea to follow Emily Falconbridge's proposal about making an Art Journaling covering a whole year... one page a week... it's called 52Q, 'cause Emily will be posting a question each week and the page should be answering that question... sounds complicated? Probably I didn't explain it very well... go read it in Emily's blog...

And talking about Emily... I've just read on her blog that she will be giving away a free participation to the courses of the PACS'09, that is going to be held in Naples in March 27-29th, to one lucky lady who will post a comment to her last post... and good luck!

Qui ho usato acrilico blu cosparso di brillantini. Le lettere della parola "wishes" stampate e ritagliate col pc, mentre "for 2009" è scritto con la Dymo.

For this one I've used acrylic paint scattered with glitter. I've printed with my pc the letters of the word "wishes" and used the Dymo for the words "for 2009".

Qui invece come sfondo ho scannerizzato la parola cambiare/cambiamento dai vari dizionari italiano, inglese e tedesco e ho fatto un collage. Ho poi scritto al computer il "journaling", stampato su lucido da ricalco.

For this one, I've scanned the word change from the Italian, English and German dictionaries and made a collage. I wrote the journaling on my pc and printed it on tracing paper.

Il LO per la sfida di novembre del blog di Scrappando

The LO for the November's challenge of Scrappando - Carta e Ricordi

Come base ho utilizzato un foglio di cellulosa spessa che ho praticamente recuperato dal cestino al lavoro (non si butta via niente!! guai!!) sporcato col gesso verde, ho attaccato un paio di avanzi di carta, un vecchio alfabeto per il titolo e due nastri... poi con la CraftRobo ho tagliato la cornice circolare, ho stampato col pc il journaling e per finire ho aggiunto 2 fiori (Queen & CO.) in alto a destra aggiungendo al centro di ognuno un brillantino (Artoz) e in basso a sinistra un fiore piegato a metà (Rico Design) e rifinito con un pezzo di cartoncino tagliato tondo.

I've used a piece of thick pulp saved from the wastepaper basket at work "dirtied" with green chalk, sticked some scraps of green paper, the title and some ribbon... then cut the circle with my CraftRobo, printed the journaling and added 2 flowers (Queen & Co.) with a brilliant each (Artoz) and a flower folded in half (Rico Design) completed with a rounded piece of paper.

E infine una cosetta carina per mia zia, o meglio per mia cugina, il soggetto della foto. Ho preso spunto dal progetto che Simona aveva proposto al meeting nazionale ASI dello scorso giugno. Penso le farà piacere.

And last but not least a gift for my little cousin, the subject of the photo. It has been inspired by the project that Simona proposed at the national meeting of the italian scrapbooking association ASI. I think she will appreciate it.
