E' tempo di Inspired Blueprints: lo sketch #87

Finalmente è on air il nuovo sketch....
Non è fantastico?? Adoro tutto quello spazio bianco :)

Sto seguendo un workshop online su entreartistes.fr della bravissima Anna-Maria Wolniak, si parla di mixed media... Diciamo che ho provato a seguire la tecnica spiegata nel primo dei 4 moduli di cui è composto il corso... e mi è piaciuto un sacco lavorare molto liberamente con acquerelli, gesso (adoro!), glimmer mist, timbri... lo trovo molto soddisfacente e vicino al mio stile, a come mi piace lavorare.

Quindi assolutamente thumbs up per questo workshop!

Ovviamente questo è solo un tentativo maldestro, dovrò perfezionare la tecnica, ma già così mi piace un sacco. Che ne dite? :D

Isn's it great? I love all that white space :)

I'm attending an online class at entreartistes.fr by the amazing Anna-Maria Wolniak on mixed media. I tried to follow the techniques explained in the first of the 4 classes and I LOVED it. I loved to work with watercolors, gesso (LOVE LOVE LOVE it), mists, stamps... I find it's really satisfying and close to my stile, that's how I like to work.
Thumbs up for the workshop then!

Obviously this is just a clunky try, I'll have to work on the techniques, but I am already pretty satisfied. What do you think? :D

ecco il mio LO... Anziché due foto orizzontali ne ho messa solo una verticale e ho spostato il tutto un po' più in basso per non coprire la decorazione della carta, che devo dire fa il grosso del lavoro :)

The new sketch is online at Inspired Blueprints.

Above is my take, I changed it up a bit, switched 2 horizontal photos to a vertical one and moved everything down a bit to leave place for the top decoration of the paper (which I think did a great job all by itself!)

E' online la mia presentazione come membro del DT di Inspired Blueprints... whohooo...
E me la ricopio anche qui, anche se è in inglese...

Preferred scrapbooking medium | I prefer 12x12 and absolutely paper, I need to touch, feel, smell the materials I work with :)

What inspired you to begin your creative journey?

I've always been attracted to everything creative and manual. Scrapbooking is the perfect craft for me because it puts together crafting with photography and memories keeping, which is really important to me.

If you were to describe your scrapbooking style in five words, what would they be?

I don't know if I have a specific style, but in any case I would define my creative process as clean & simple, instinctive, colourful.

What type of camera do you use?

I have a Canon EOS but also use my phone

Where do you do most of your scrapbooking?

I am lucky enough to have a craft room :)

 

What time of day are you most creative, and what inspires you to create?

I am more productive in the evening... basically everything inspires me, images or things I read on the Internet, and especially Pinterest; nowadays it’s a great source of inspiration! I have a constant flow of ideas going thorough my head during the day.

Why do you love sketches?

I think sketches help to overcome the "fear" of not knowing what to put and where in the layout. They give the go to the scrapbooking process.
