finalmente scrap….

si, finalmente torno a postare qualcosa di scrapposo… niente di nuovo eh, comunque cose che non avevo ancora postato…

Vorrei lanciare un sondaggio: vi è mai capitato di fare un lavoro, un LO o un mini o altro, e poi dopo qualche tempo stravolgerlo perché non vi piace più?

Ecco, a me è successo con un album che ho fatto tempo fa, ed esattamente questo:

Stoffine e feltro colorati con imbottitura interna….

 

Ogni volta che lo guardavo, c’era qualcosa che non mi convinceva, lo stile, i colori, cozzavano con le foto… e allora ho smantellato tutto e ne sono usciti due album, che ora adoro…

Quello di stoffa tutto colorato mi sembrava più adatto a ospitare le foto del mio attore preferito, l’istrionico, mutevole, bravissimo (e bellissimo) Johnny Depp :)

 

 

Mentre per le foto della gita a Palermo ho realizzato un album con le buste del pane, molto semplice, decorato solamente con dell’acrilico a fare delle cornici intorno alle pagine, un paio di timbri, ritagli di carte e qualche tag…

Ora sì che sono soddisfatta :D

La qualità delle foto è pessima perché in casa nuova non sono ancora ben attrezzata… e a proposito di casa nuova… ecco uno scorcio della mia nuovissima craft room, ancora work in progress, tutta da sistemare (si vede dal casino imperante)

P.S.: sono ancora senza tende… non so cosa scegliere… idee? Non le vorrei troppo pesanti perché voglio che entri molta luce…

P.P.S.: sul tavolo in fondo potete ammirare il tappetino e l’erba gatta di stewie… ormai quella è la sua postazione e non lo schioda più nessuno :D

 

Finally talking again about scrapbooking!!

Do you ever change a project, be it a layout, an album or something else, that doesn’t convince yourself?

It happened with a mini I made some time ago, every time I looked at it I felt something was wrong… the style and colours of the pages crashed with the photos taken while in Palermo with my mother, grandma, aunt and grand-aunt.

Therefore I tore it apart and made 2 new albums… used the basis to host the photos of my fav actor, Johnny Depp…

While for the photos in Palermo I made a paper bag album decorated with just some paint, a couple of stamps, some leftover paper and tags…

Now I am really satisfied of both!

And finally, here’s a look at my beand new craft room, still work-in-progress…

P.S. any idea for the curtains?? I don’t want them to be too thick because I want lots of light…

P.P.S.: in the table at the window you can see Stewie’s bed and grass… that’s his place and he doesn’t want to leave :)

Cucciolo, oggi compi sei mesi… riguardo le prime foto che ti abbiamo fatto e mi sembra impossibile che tu ora sia diventato il bel gattone che sei…

I tuoi occhietti malandati, le tue zampine mingherline, e la tua vocina squillante, ce la ricordiamo bene la prima notte che sei stata con noi, tutto sporco e pulcioso!!

Tu volevi la tua mamma, la chiamavi… ma lei non c’era… mi dispiace di averti strappato così bruscamente da lei e dai tuoi fratellini, ma -sai- non avresti avuto vita lunga se ti avessi lasciato dove ti ho trovato. Ma non devi odiare la tua mamma, lei stava facendo solamente quello che le dettava la natura…

E poi, che tenerezza ricordare i primi pasti, con che voracità e avidità mangiavi, usando quelle poche forze che avevi, con entrambe le zampe anteriori immerse nel piatto…

Il primo “bagnetto”… è stato insieme divertente ed emozionante guardare il tuo musetto che ci interrogava…

Poi, ti abbiamo portato a casa (e -dopo averti salvato- nel tragitto in macchina dalla Croazia ti abbiamo quasi intossicato, povera stella…) ed è iniziata la nostra convivenza.

 
Ti sei fatto dei nuovi amici

 
Sei sempre stato un gattino piuttosto vivace e giocherellone… ma pur sempre tenero e coccoloso…

E come dimenticare la prima volta che ti ho messo il guinzaglio e ti ho portato a calpestare l’erba… non sapevi se essere più curioso o spaventato…

Ma dopo un po’ di decompressione e un po’ di uscite, ti sei abituato all’idea ed eri tu stesso a chiedermi di portarti a spasso

per poi cadere in un profondo sonno, stremato dalle emozioni e dalle scoperte…

   

Nel frattempo, continuavi a crescere, e un gatto junior che si rispetti da una mano in casa…

La tua specialità? lavatrice e stenditoio, ma forse non hai capito bene come funziona la cosa… una volta devo averti anche sgridato e tu per vendicarti mi hai srotolato tutto il rotolo della carta igienica… con quel faccino ingenuo e angelico che solo voi gatti potete fare… 

Sei un po’ monello, certo, ma sei anche tanto dolce…

ricordi la nostra capatina a trovare i nonni in casa di riposo? quanta gioia hai dispensato… d’altronde sono così simpatici (a parte qualche piccola eccezione) e morbidosi, soprattutto la nonna Eligia, vero?

Insomma, tutto questo non solo per farti gli auguri di buon “complemese” (oddio mi sembra di essere tornata quindicenne) ma anche per dirti che sei un micio favoloso e ti voglio bene!!

You are 6 months old today… and looking back at the first photos we’ve taken of you, it almost seems impossible that you now have become such a beautiful cat!

Those little ill eyes, the skinny paws and an all but timid voice that we very well remember from the first night you spent with us, all dirty and flea-bitten :)

I remember with affection your first meals, that you ate ravenously and greedily, with both forepaws in the plate :)

The first bath was both funny and moving… looking at your questioning face…

Then we took you home with us (and in our trip back from Croatia we nearly intoxicated you…) and our adventure began…

You made new friends and played a lot with everything that went under your paws…

And what about the first time I took you out with the leash to go to the park and walk in the grass… you didn’t know if you were more curious or scared… but then you got used to it and it was you that asked to go for a walk… and after our walks you irreparably fell asleep, destroyed by the emotions and discoverings of the day…

In the meantime you continued to grow and everybody knows a “junior cat” helps with home-chores… you speciality is laundry, but maybe you haven’t understood how it works exactly :)

Once I told you off and in revenge you unrolled the whole toilet paper roll… but you looked at the with that innocent face that only cats can have…

You are a rascal, but you are also so sweet… do you remember that time at the rest home? You made all of them so happy… after all, they are so nice and soft, expecially Eligia…

This all is to wish you a happy “6-months-anniversary” and to tell you I love you!

52-week-project 2012

E andiamo avanti con questo progetto fotografico…. come al solito io non rispetto le scadenze settimanali…

Sett. 2: montiamo i mobili (santa Ikea….)
Cioé, Simon monta i mobili, Stewie “aiuta” e io fotografo :)


 

Sett. 3: si lavora per rimettere in sesto una vecchia credenza che andrà nella mia scrap-sew-paint, insomma nella Craft room… colore? ma rosso naturalmente :)

Sett. 4: proviamo ad imparare qualche pezzo con la chitarra….




Sett. 5: passata con l’influenza, ma per fortuna avevo il mio personal healer :)



Sett. 6: di ritorno dalla mia visita ortodontica mensile a Verona (ebbene si, ho messo l’apparecchio)

…ma dopotutto, quale scrapper non è anche una photo-addicted?!?

Date un’occhiata ai suoi scatti!
Le vibrazioni che emanano, le storie che raccontano, quegli sguardi, i colori, i corpi…
Cliccate sulle due foto sopra e sarete trasportati in un altro mondo, suggestivo, caldo, fantastico, surreale, abitato da personaggi irreali, spaventosi, inquietanti e figure dolci, sensuali, conturbanti…

Dall’incontro tra la fotografia di Andrea e un’altra forma d’arte, la cosiddetta body-art, di Igor dello Studio Bionic è nato poi il progetto Butterfly che, detto con le loro parole, mira a “valorizzare in maniera elegante ed onirica il connubio tra body mod e fotografia”.
E qui arriviamo alla foto che volevo mostrarvi, la mia foto, quindi senza altri preamboli, eccola


E’ una rivisitazione del classico corset piercing, ma io volevo qualcosa di diverso, che mi rappresentasse di più, volevo il microfono e volevo il rosso…
E quindi Andrea e Igor hanno partorito quest’idea.

Il processo, dall’applicazione degli anelli (poi rimossi a lavoro finito), al trucco e parrucco, alla sessione fotografica, è stata bellissima, elettrizzante, divertente, strana… Comunque, lo rifarei subito!



Mi piacerebbe sapere cosa ne pensate…
Please, che fa impressione me l’hanno già detto in tanti… che poi, ve lo assicuro, fa più male farsi sparare un orecchino nel lobo…

No, quello che voglio sapere è: che cosa vi comunica?
Un amico mi ha detto che di primo acchito gli è arrivato un messaggio di “sottomissione”, l’essere marionetta cioè comandata da qualcosa/qualcuno, ma il fatto che ci sia il microfono è come dire che nonostante la fatica e le avversità non smetterò mai di cantare e di esprimermi perché credo in quello che faccio…
Ecco, insomma una cosa del genere….

Io invece la vedo così: voglio cantare, voglio esprimermi, voglio essere me stessa, ma sono trattenuta da fili invisibili che mi limitano, mi bloccano…
Sarà che mi conosco?! ;-)
Però io ci vedo uno sguardo fiero, in particolare nella foto “allargata”, e in un immaginario fotogramma successivo mi vedo a strapparli, tagliarli, spezzarli quei fili… :-)

…but which scrapbooker is not a photo-addicted?!?
Well then, I should have written “I ♥ Andrea Galad’s photos”. Take a look at his shots, the atmospheres, the stories they tell, the looks, the bodies….

From the union of Andrea’s art and another form of art, body art, performed by Igor of the Bionic Tattoo and Piercing Studio, the Butterfly project was created which aims at enhancing -in an elegant and dreamy way- the encounter between body mod and photography….

Above is the photo I took which enters into this project…
It’ s a revisit of the classic corset piercing, but I wanted it to be more personal, more “me”, I wanted a microphone and I wanted red! And they fulfilled my requests!!
Everything from the application of the piercings to the real session was great, funny, exciting… I would repeat it immediately!!


And now… what do you think about my photo?
Many people already told me that it is somehow disgusting. What I want to hear from you is what it tells you.
A friend of mine perceived a sense of submissiveness, just like I am a puppet being guided by someone/something, but nonetheless the fact that there’s the microphone suggests that I am ready to fight to sing and to express myself and that I will never stop despite the obstacles and difficulties…
That was nice and even though he didn’t understand WHY I did it, I really appreciated his point.


That’s how I see it: I want to sing, to express myself, to BE myself, but there are some invisible threads that block me…
I probably know myself well ;-)
But I feel a proud gaze -in the second photo in particular- and in the next imaginary frame, I see myself breaking, cutting that threads… :-)
